‘KALYANA KUVARA’ HISTORICAL FILM

Vishnukanth known for ‘Dr Ambedkar’ cinema in the title role and later directed ‘Ganga Cauvery’ Kannada cinema is back after six years. This time he is with historical personality ‘Dr Channabasappa Pattadevaru’. Vishnukanth has written story, screenplay, and dialogues, direct the film, produce it and appears in the title role.

Dr Channabasappa Pattadevaru a living legend died at the age of 99 years hails from Uttara Karnataka. He has created revolution in social life, education field besides upgrading the poor people of the society. The life sketch of Dr Channabasappa is not known to Southern part of Karnataka. When Hyderbad Nizam was ruling in those areas he taught Kannada to students putting the Urdu Board outside the schools.
